Im wanting another .22 semi... and these are what outs there that i like the LOOK of... but dont know about thier reliability.

- Kimber 1911 .22 semi

- CZ75 Kadet .22 semi

- Sig Misquito

- Walther P22

I know about the walther and sig's repair history and how they are both built on the small frame. I did have at one time a walther p22 and liked it, but sold it for unforeseen cercumstanses (sp?) so im kindof leaning towards the Kimber and/or CZ75. Anyone used these and or owned them? How did they work? Were they fussy for ammo? Were they accurate?

ps.. please dont recommend rugers, browning or norinco semis as i either own them or dont like them. Just from the 4 above.. or maybe something else i might be missing.

Thank you.

I just got a norinco m93 (colt woodsman copy) used for cheap its my 1st .22 pistol and i love it fired approx 500 rnds so far no problems yet that were not ammo related (duds)

its accurate too and CHEAP!!!!!

several guys at my range have the sig one works perfectly the other fails to feed alot both were/are brand new

STAY AWAY FROM THE WALTHER P22!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'll sell you mine cheap!

Kimber 1911 .22LR is awesome and very accurate. My only complaint is that the slide doesn't stay open on the last shot. Every gun review I read, the writters bought the test guns because of the accuracy! I was suprised at how light it was.

The CZ Kadet I tried was a very decent gun. Also very accurate with a comfortable grip.

.22 pistol

CZ 75 Cadet, my son has one, no malfunctions through about 1000 rounds, feeds flawlessly, accurate, comfortable to shoot. I have the CZ 75 9mm and the CZ97 .45. All are excellent quality pistols. No problems with any of them.

Have a great day - go CZ - :dancingbanana:

What about a Beretta Neos? I like mine.

Hi Bill. Long time, no hear. :D As mentioned earlier in my post... i have to like the LOOK of the gun ( i know, im shallow ) before i will consider how it shoots. If its not love at first site, i dont care how it shoots... its like having ### with a fat lady. No matter how tight her balogna tube is... you will have to look at the rest of her sometime sooner or later. :runaway: :runaway: :runaway: :runaway:

lmao mustang,
I just got my Mosquito and have to say it's great. People have said is is't reliable, well then I must have got a real gem.

I also really like the feel and balance of the neo(kinda like some fat ladies I've known, I almost bought that instead of the sig.
The sig won out for the same reason only it's lighter and looks nicer.
Anyone know where I could get a lighter trigger spring for the sig? My only complaint it 12lb is way to heavy for for me never mind sonny or wifey, but the acual wight of the pistol is great compared to browning, ruger ect, all great guns.

A friend has the Kimber 1911 .22 top end. Its accurate and fun to shoot. Most of my semi-auto .22 shooting, however, is done with my Ruger MK II 5.5" bull barrel. My dad shoots an original ERMA LA-22 with long target barrel (looks like a scaled down Luger) Its very accurate, however, the grip geometry doesn't agree with my big paws, so I stick with the Ruger.

You should try a Beretta M76W.
