Which aftermarket wood stock looks _best_ with the Norinco M-14S synthetic handguard

I've been thinking of buying a wood stock for my Norinco M-14, but it also comes with that synthetic brown handguard. Any stock should match that handguard, I think. Is there a stock that matches that handguard, or should I just buy a handguard with it / repaint the handguard?

Repainting the HG seems to work best. Choose the stock you want and and with a multitude of colours to choose from, matching the handguard is easy.

i just bought a boyds walnut stock and handguard, loose the plastic!!!

can always sand down the chinese wood stock and put a varnish over it.. get it shining a bit of thats what you're into.. good way to match them up

Any chance you could post a pic of your rifle? I have the Boyd's walnut but I wasn't sure how it would look if I got the walnut HG. I'm very tempted...
