Which brand style is the quietest cleaner

If I understand your question correctly - you are looking for a quiet ultrasonic cleaner. I bought a generic one off of fleabay and it is virtually silent in operation. Are these cleaners know to be inherently noisey?
 
Most of the vibratory ones are kinda noisy. leave it in the garage or if you're an apartment dweller with people living below, do it on the balcony with with a piece of soft foam under it to deaden some of the vibration noise that goes through the floor. Maybe buy a $15 timer so it only runs mid-day when it shouldn't bother anyone.
 
A rotary rock tumbler, such as a Lortone or Thumler, should be much quieter than any vibratory tumbler. Most of them have the inside of the drum rubber lined, which also helps them run quieter. They cost a little more than a vibratory tumbler, but are built to be able to run for weeks on end.

Don't get an RCBS Sidewinder; they're a lot more expensive and have lower capacity than a comparable rock tumbler.
