For .308 in my new build, tight chamber and headspacing, I can get Nosler or Hornady Custom brass from W.S. in Calgary (mail order) is there a big difference in quality? Or is there a better option I don't know about?

Oh yeah!! Got the new rifle Friday! Itching to get it sorted out! :D

I use Nosler, Lapua and W-W for my varmint / target .308 Win rifles. For me, in the particular .308 Win caliber, it does not seems to make a big accuracy / lifetime difference. For my .308 Win hunting rifles, I use either the standard W-W or Speer Nitrex nickel lated cases (neck turned).

Lapua..it's good and cheap to buy. Peter at Hirsch Precision..call him.. the brass will be at your door by the end of the week..maybe sooner.

You mentioned tight chamber - did you mean tight neck for a chamber dimension?

I offer all the above and then a few others. All work and all can provide excellent accuracy.

For durability, Win and Lapua seem the best choices.

You may want to confirm what the chamber dimension is. Brass varies in neck thickness and this can lead to some really exciting results if the chamber is too small.

Lapua brass on the way...

Jerry, the head spacing is tight, no "wiggle room" :D Sorry for mixing terms, seems I need more sleep, and a few extra seconds to put my brain in gear.
