Which Can Am 7.62 Non Corrosive Ammo Should I choose??? Whats the difference?

Need to feed the new beast. Is the Norc stuff the best from Can Am right now or is the Dominion HV or the other type better options? I don’t even really know the difference between them all. I suspect none of them are indoor range approved.

Which will be the the least harmful to my CZ - ie. less wear an tear on the gun?
 
All will be able the same wear and tare. Steel case, copper coated steel jacket. Maybe a tiny bit thicker layer of copper on dominion but nothing that will make much difference.

I like the NORINCO copper wash because it's steel core. I've also never had an issue with dominion either
 
Dominion is lead core apparently, but they have a steel jacket. Very likely an indoor range backstop won't appreciate this. I have some but haven't tried it yet.

Norinco is labeled non-corrosive... There's a nail test to see if it's really as advertised. Not saying anything about the supplier. Some things I've read seen (YouTube's your friend here) suggest that it's not always the case.

It's not surplus. Its new manufacture. It's non corrosive.

I shot ~1500 of them and didn't clean it for a month. Not one spec of rust.
 
I have shot 1000s of both. Can't go wrong with either one.
You might want to hold off until Canada day as there could be a sale on.
 
I've shot Barnaul, dominion, norinco, Russian surplus, sellior. It's all the same to me. I tend to just buy Barnaul for everything, it's cheap, readily available and steel case, non corrosive
 
I just bought a new SKS, haven't owned a x39 for a few years. The only thing I used to look for was that it was on stripper clips but these days you also need to choose based on where you live and what you plan to do with it. Many ranges don't allow steel core so you need to watch for that if you plan to shoot at the range and your's is one of the ones that restricts ammo. I've also heard there is a province out east that prohibits steel core on crown land. I'm not sure how they plan to enforce that but none the less it's something to consider if this applies to you.
Other than that as long as you clean your rifle properly corrosive ammo is fine.
The steel cartridge instead of brass is a little harder on the chamber but it's not going to be very notieable till you have run thousands of rounds through the rifle and let's face it, these are not expensive precision sniper rifles here so there really isn't much to worry about.
The steel jacketed projectile being copper washed is a little harder on the bore than a proper copper jacket but again, these aren't precision rifles so not a big concern.
Just remember to clean your rifle including the gas system with soap and water after you're done for the day if you're using corrosive ammo, other than that just buy as much as you can and have fun.

Shorter bullet is dominion, boat tail steel core is norinco

The copper wash layer is surprisingly thick and Id say wouldn't be much worse than the coating on the dominion
