Which covers for TRS-25?

Newbie-to-optics question... I've looked around for information on what size Butler Creek flip-open covers to get for my TRS-25, and the answer eludes me. Some say the #2A, 30mm is correct, others say the #4, 27.8mm. I would have guessed #1, 25.4mm. Any thoughts? Thanks Nutz.
 
It's not an easy off the shelf thing due to the poor design of the body.

I've got size 04 noted down but I never see that size in store...... need to order some as well I guess!
 
body design sucks, can't believe number of times finges smudges lenses on cover removal/installation. BC covers sounds like a great idea.
 
I know they need to be trimmed to fit, just not sure what size to start with. Can, you have the #4, 27.8mm?
 
Just bought one for my 597, a flip up cover would be great. The little rubber bikini it came with is a PITA to pop on and off with much speed.

Butler creek caps are better if they stretch a bit to fit which the #4 will do.
I'd imagine the rear cap will need a bit of adhesive as well to keep it attached.
