Which CZ to get?

Sorry about the general question, CZ does not work in the search.

Is there a "to get" CZ? like the g17 is to glock. I have Glocks and 1911s and would like to try a CZ. I am hoping a CZ will be the cool-aid between the 1911 and glock  I like the idea of a light attchment.

My purpose is speed while mantaining accuracy. To shoot IPSC style drills.

If your plans call for IPSC events now or in the near future than the top dog model is the Shadow. The red dot front sight and non presence of the firing pin block along with the competition hammer makes this one of the nicest possible triggers right out of the box.

Instead of buying a light for it spend the money on a good holster, competition belt and mag pouches and get out and shoot matches sooner. The fun you get shooting in matches will easily make you forget about adding a useless rail light.

I have a cz75 Shadow, and I shot in IPSC, I love my pistol awesome, but my skills are no where near winning a match.

I was beaten by glock 17, 21 with upgraded triggers,
some guys shot better than me with IWI 9 mm pistol

and YES I have a DARN EXPENSIVE Surefire X400 coming for it! Why? ideology of use. I wanted to try the laser route. It has its tactical advantages even for IPSC, if it is a just a friendly match, and the rules are less strict.

Would I buy another shadow? Darn right! Would I carry one to battle? Darn right!

This wont be your last pistol, waiting for my M&P45 to come in the mail, and waiting for the release of the Walter PPQ in 40 S&W.

many dealers in Canada offers good deals.

If you want the stainless model the cz75b in Stainless finish is beautiful. If you wish to have a polymer pistol, I would get the duty cz75 07. I wish we had some compacts coming with proper barrels! I love compacts.

I went with CZ 75B Polished Stainless! Great shooter and very ###y! Also have a SP-01 Tactical coming today as well, but not sure if I'll like it as much; I prefer handguns in the 25-35oz weight category, and had a few 40+oz guns before and the extra weight was something I always disliked.

I should add that while the Shadow is the main choice of a lot of IPSC shooters the 75 and 85 are no slouch. I've got an older pre"B" model 75 which I use for IDPA events. It's every bit as nice as the Shadow other than having just a little more kick due to the lighter front end. But it hasn't slowed me down at all and they are all very tight grouping service guns.

I think this is the best CZ

Useless, what about night/low light matches? It is quite fun and more challenging shooting in the dark/low light. Then their is the unlikely need for self defense in your home at night. Useless to you maybe. Not to everyone.

Thanks for the info, I did the laser thing pretty cool indoor, but out at the range I couldn't see it.
