Looking for stainless model 70 crf but it seems most places only have one or two in stock and they are never stainless. What's the deal? Are they that high in demand?

Epps brings 70's in. The big chains still think Winchester only makes Levers.

Anything with a 3006 bolt face. Preferably a model 70 extreme weather. I want one to either rebarrel or bore out to 35 whelen.
If you want to give yourself heartburn and can wait I Run Guns has lots of stainless, I notice their prices in American dollars have climbed I bought a blued 70 in 338 from them, paid for last summer arrived just in time for this year's hunting season. Their system is all screwed up at the moment with lots of disappointed customers but they seem to have a loyal following. Just do not be in a hurry I paid for a rifle that was in stock stateside in October And am still waiting.

Called around on the weekend lookin for model 70 in stainless and nobody has any left and was told that winchester is moving the plant and they will be hard to find for a while! Could be bs but thats what I was told.

Two weeks ago I bought a barnd new Winchester M70 Featherweight in stainless/walnut in .270 from Wholesale Sports.
Sales manager at their head office said that it was their last one: "old stock from 2011" (made in USA, not Portugal).
It is still BNIB, not sure what (if anything) that I will do with it.
Bought it because apparently it was the "last new stainless/walnut non-magnum Winny in Canada".
It looks like this pic below, except that it still has the Winchester sticker on the barrel.
Nice rifle. Sure is pretty..
