Just trying to decide on which route to go for my .204.Never used side focus before. What are the pros and cons to using Adjustable objective vs side focus? Thanks
I went on a gopher shoot with my AO scoped rifle.
What a pain in the postier derrier.
I would imagine the side focus would be easier to manipulate
out in the field.
Went back to the 3-9x40 and had some real fun.
Hollow points make a thunk/twackk sound too..................
I read a few good things about that scope too. Was considering it, but picked up the Hawke varmint 4-16x44 and so far Im liking the SF over the AO. Its alot easy to see where its at when your laying in the prone. Ive seen guys with AO scopes that have flip caps on em and you can pretty much tell where your set at according to where the flipped cover is.
Kind of sorry I got an AO scope on my .223 because it's a hassle to adjust. I use it mostly at the range but it's going to be my coyote gun and I can already see it being a problem. Enough of a problem to buy a fixed objective or SFscope? That's another question for another day.
