Which EOTech sight is best for a shotgun EXPS2 or XPS2-2?

I am trying to pick EOTech holographic sight for my Remington shotgun
and came across to EXPS2 and XPS2 models.

As fare as a difference run between two EXPS2 has control buttons brought on the side and has a quick release.

Any Idea which one will best fit a shotgun, or do you know any other model which is specifically designed for shotguns?

My concern is that quick release of EXPS2 may not withstand the kick of the slug.

I have no idea regarding the different Eotech on a shotgun.

If you keep your original stock and want to have a reasonable cheekrest, the Eotech should be too high. You could get an Aimpoint Comp ML3 with a SRP-L ring or a mini red-dot like the FastFire2 to get a better shooting position and the sight closer to the bore.

Beg to differ on this comment.
As not only the holo circle is great for pattering your shot load @ distance but also the red dot works wonders for the slug's and if you use slugs to sight in then you are good to go for your shot rounds.
Also there is no need for a check riser & yes you need to keep booth eye's open when targeting and shooting.
