Which gas piston to buy

Geissele triggers would fix that problem in a hurry.

Yes, I've been pricing out the SSA unit and think I will buy a couple after I finish my current build in progress.
I was at the store the other day and got to feel the trigger on a JP 3gun rifle and was blown away by how crisp and tight it was. If I had the money I would have one of those rifles.

Yeah, PWS is the better option in my opinion. I have had a Mk112 Mod0 for a couple of years and have yet to have a problem. I took her in to CSC and they took a look and did an annual look-see for me and determined that the rifle was in top working order. I have over 8000 rounds down the pipe on her and the gunsmith said it looked pretty good.

I'm gonna get flamed for this, but I have run the HK 416 and preferred the PWS.

The long stroke piston system is pretty dammed well thought out and if you've ever looked under the hood of an AK you'd recognize the set up right away when you field stripped a PWS. As I said, I've put 8000 rounds down the pipe, run it very, very dirty (2000rds between cleanings) and have only had ammo related stoppages (something like 6 so far). It is also very light and the recoil is better on this rifle than even most DI rifles, never mind another Piston rifle. The guys at PWS designed these things as go-to rifles and they succeeded in spades. If you ever see a guy wearing a Vertx hat and swinging a FDE Carbine at CSC ask him if you can blat a few rounds with his PWS. If its me, I'll be happy to oblige. :)
