Your a german soldier in WW2, you have the choice of weapons to use, pick what you would like to use, pick one or two, a second for back up, pick 3 if you like, its an open pole. Try and keep it to two please.

I will over time do the other Nations involved, than take the 2 most popular from each list, and do a final poll to find out the two most popular weapons of ww2. Should I do France as well? LOL

PS Did I click the more than one vote opition, I am sure I did, hope I did.

Oh I picked the G 43 and P38 shold have also put MG34

MG-42.

1200 or so RPM, can't go wrong with a zipper gun... not sure I'm fond of how they change barrels on the thing, but hey, what's not to like about 1200 RPM? So long as someone else is humping the ammo, barrels, and cleaning kit. :D

Haha... I've done that a few times with the C6 as a demo... I think I hit a few steel men at the 200m point. Kind of like spraying a garden hose, just watch the trace. Not effective as a proper position, but fun as hell on the move.

The mg 42 is good, but i perfer the mg 34 because of the semi mode,on the trigger, i used to hump the old c5, but i usyually ended up with all the ammo and spare parts also, damn m/cpl just carried the tri- pod and the patoon warrent was an ####### as he kept saying its a two man gun, and the book and the course i took said 3 man, oh well

STG44/MP44 without hesitation. Amazing rifle, would have been brutal if Hitler would have seen the future was all about assault rifles and not pea shooters.

Lugers are cool too, just cuz.

I chose the MP-44 and the P-08. Both are easy picks.

The MG-42 is enticing, but it is even more enticing to your enemy.

I'd just as soon not be the one (of my squad) that the entire enemy squad was trying to kill.

I remember hearing storis of US servicemen who would "shrink" when being issued weapons, b/c they didn't want to become the "popular target" BAR man....;)

The Luger is a beautiful gun but IMHO not as reliable as the P38 in the field.

For me it's:
MP44 (Hands down)
MG42
P38

FG-42, it was way ahead of its time. Plus it means I am a Paratrooper, which is awesome in its own right.

The MG-42 is very cool, great piece of gear, but running around witha 25lbs gun, and having everyone try very hard to kill me for using it aren't all the enticing.

i happen to know a guy that carried the bar- he don't way more than a hundred pounds, soaking wet, even if he is from TEXAS- his stature is more carbine than anything else-
