Which Glock (or other manuf.) is most compact in 45acp but non-prohib?

Does that indicate that Taurus is...crappy?

Just hard to find, and not really worth the effort of searching. Warranty and service are non-existant, which on a bargain pistol, is no bargain. If they'd stand behind their product, I bet they'd outsell the Nork's, but if it's cheap, people want the assurance a good warranty provides.

True. what about Walther's? I are they expensive in Canada? I know they aren't too badly priced in the US...and they are S&W owned no?

^ that sounds about right. i've shot a Taurus PT92 and it was good, no real problems, but didn't compare it to an actual Beretta. i don't know if the (lack of) support is current or a bad stain from the past. if you're really concerned about support and parts replacement and all that, i'm guessing that a Glock or traditional 1911 are gonna be real hard to beat. and if i was really intent on the 45, i'd stick to the 1911 for that reason.

Hmm...then maybe I should be looking into keeping my current 1911, and eventually finding a little brother for it (commander or carry or whatnot).
