which is better, Hunting season or Christmas season?

Ok lets hear it, why is hunting season better than the holiday season or vise-versa if that is your thing.

+Hunting: you can decorate you're house with decoys, deer mounts, and wildlife paintings and the wife doesn't ask you to take them down again the day after the season's over.

+Hunting: All your hard work painstakingly making hand crafted items (ie. ammo in this case) you don't give away to under-appreciative relatives.

+Hunting: Real spruce trees

+Hunting: "opening" day is at the beginning of the season not the end.

+Hunting: what you're hunting for is found in peaceful remote forest away from people rather than shoulder to shoulder in a crowded shopping mall.

+Hunting: A gift can appear under your tree anytime, not just on one day.

+Christmas: At the end of the season you're guaranteed to get something under your tree.

+Christmas: opening up what is under the tree, usually doesn't involve getting bloody.

Hunting season usually invovles me being by myself or with a couple of good friends out in the beauty and silence of nature.
Christmas season usually invovles being around a bunch of loud and at times annoying family hahahaha
 
Hands down, no competition, I enjoy hunting season more than Christmas. Christmas is very important to me as well from my religious point of view, but has become much too commercialized. Unfortunately there is no big game hunting during the Christmas season in Sask., so my wife and I try to duck out of family stuff and go ice fishing. Fishing does play second fiddle tho.
