I presently own a Taurus Tracker 22 LR revolver and like it well enough. I would like to get a 22 LR semi auto, but am limited to either a Ruger Mark III target 5.5" or a Browning Buck Standard 5.5". They both feel good in my hand but without being able to shoot them before I buy them I cannot decide if the Ruger's $60.00 extra cost is worth it. It looks like a better gun, but that does not always reflect it's target performance. The Browning's chamber is visible regardless of which side you lay it down with the action open. The Ruger has the loaded chamber indicator and a left side chamber opening.

I started a similar topic a couple of days ago, have a look, got some good replies from the guys, thanks a lot. I think I will go with the ruger.
