Which Kimber?

They have alot of models. I'm thinkming about one of these. I know for sure I would want the stainless finish, .45ACP, 5" barrel and ability to accept a Kimber .22 conversion kit, but that's about it. An ambi thumb safety would be nice as I'm a lefty.

I would stick with 5" .45ACP model as your first Kimber. I have Eclipse Target II.

Hi Matt,

I have a Super Match II and a Tactical Custom II and wouldn't part with either one. Both have the ambi safety, mag well, nice crisp trigger, very accurate pistols, the Tactical is a little lighter than the Super but both shoot excellent and both will accept the conversion kit.

In my opinion, I can't see you going wrong with any model of Kimber.

Looking through Kimber's website the Stainless Gold Match II seems to be right up my alley. Does anyone know if the magazine is single stack, or otherwise?
