Which NR black rifle?

Can hear very well,

Every gun I own, I own because there not overly loud guns
If they are there sold. I shouldnt say all guns
My sks is very loud but I would sell it, just dont shoot it as much
Last time I was out shooting it was kind of windy, I was shooting dowm wind
Both my vz 58s sounded like 22's, thats what I like.
Dont own any suppressors unfortunately

i picked up a mini14 when they where still $700 brand new and picked up 12 mags for it the same day.
have never looked back.
have never had a problem with it other then the odd dud round.

considering putting glass on it this summer and maybe a acu-strut just to see if it does what they boast.

This isn't one of their ripoff ARs originally made for third world countries who the Americans wouldn't sell to, the T-97 is a variant of their own service rifle. The fit and finish on mine is flawless. It has a rugged AK/VZ hybrid action. It strips easily without tools into large, simple parts. The trigger is light and smooth. It is perfectly balanced at the pistol grip. I've found it to be a solidly built, accurate and reliable rifle.

The problem with the T97 is the lack of features. Bad (but not unworkable) magazine release, absolutely horrid safety position. No external controls for the bolt catch. No changing the muzzle device without taking it to a gunsmith. Want an optic? Hope you like chinwelds or taking a hacksaw to your iron sights. But then you're spending significant money on what's supposed to be a budget option.

I purchased one with the FTU pre-installed. A lot of options for accessories. You can even get side rails to put on it with the FTU. A great rifle for sure. Feels a lot more solid than I thought it would. I don't mind the mag release. I just tilt the rifle to the left and use my right hand. I've gotten used to it.

My only issue with it is the safety switch. It's a pain to engage, and lack of a casing deflector for left handed shooters.

Other than that, it's solid, balanced, easy to maintain, accessory friendly and weighs about the same as an AR. I also find it more sleek, and less bulky than a Tavor (which costs almost 3x as much) But it is a bullpup though, so you would need to like that style of rifle. If not, don't shell the cash for it, or a Tavor. The bullpups feel more natural to me than a rifle like the C7. I'm really enjoying it.

It does. Worth it just for the 'cool factor'. Makes a Mini look like an M14.

I like the mini 14 in Sparta stock myself. Was thinking of doing this just to see what its like. Anyone have comments on this set up? any pics? I am super interested in doing this as well. Seems like a good way to spend $1200.

Edit
