Thats not always the case, have you seen the price of Elly 10x, it makes hmr ammo look cheap.

And oddly it is one of thos ammos that are user to test hot rodded 10/22 in the hunting mags. wow a $1000 worth of gun and ~$20 for 50 rounds of 10x. It puts $265 and $12 into perspective since it is probably not grouping any better

Depends on conditions, the 17 will out shoot the LR in a strong wind. The LR in the right gun will shoot with the 17 in calm conditions. :)

Of course .22 ammo CAN be expensive, but HMR ammo is ALWAYS expensive!! lol

Once they start selling 500 count boxes of .17HMR for less than $20, I'll have no use for a .22 anymore! :dancingbanana:
