Remington XCR Savage 10FP Which one?
and what would be good glass to put on top?

Get one of each.

I would recommend the Savage first though. They seem to have a good combination of out of the box accuracy and price.

But there are more aftermarket accessories for the Remingtons.

What are your intenetions for the rifle?

Trick it out or shoot as is?

Scopes I don't know enough about to offer a decent opinion other than get the best you can afford.

Neither one. they are not long distance target rifles, but if that is ultimately what you want to create, the Remington is the best platform to upgrade.

Otherwise, buy a Savage F-TR or F-Class rifle... these are made for long distance shooting
