Which pistol parts are a good idea to have extras of?

I lost this tiny little washer which holds the collar ring which holds the recoil spring in place on my Ruger p944 (it's called a recoil spring collar retainer).

It's a 2 dollar part but will cost me a lot more after shipping/gas. In light of this, I might as well order some other parts at the same time because the marginal cost would be minimal.

What cheap gun parts are worth having extras of in case they get lost or broken?

The list depends very much on the design of the gun. The Glock, for example, has very few parts and they are quite different than most other pistols. I generally have a complete set of all springs for each of my handguns and, for those I use a lot, I also have a spare extractor and firing pin AND a set of grip screws, the latter for cases when they vanish into another dimension never to be found again during take down and cleaning. I'd say, get a set of all small and easily lost parts for your Ruger for the next time a $2 thingy shuts down your gun.
