Which rings?

Hey all, I'm in the market for a new piece of glass. Debating between the Athlon Ares, PST Gen2, and a few others. I'm going to put it on a T3X in .308 on a Area 419 rail. I'm still unsure of what rings to get? I'm not trying to break the bank. I've looked at two on GoBigTactical for 34mm rings, the MDT Elite, and the MDT Premier, but I'm not sure of the difference besides 2 screws per, and $120

I got tikka t3x on 20 moa base. For PST. gen. 2 (30 mm tube) you can use vortex pmr ring (PMR-30-87) Low height 0.87".
For Athlon ares ETR (34 mm tube) PMR-34-92 low heigh 0.92"

If you're going with MDT rings, check out their website, they've got comparisons. You can also order direct from them. FYI... the PST Gen 2 is a 30mm tube, not 34mm.

Don't cheap out on rings when mounting a good scope. Other good options include the Nightforce XTRM Ultralights and Vortex Precision matched rings.

ATRS also makes a great set of rings. Not cheap, but quality never is.

I like ATRS and ARC rings. If you're not in a hurry you can find ATRS rings on the ee for around $120-140
