Which saddle ring,gold or blued ?

I've got a Win 94 Klondike gold rush that my son uses for deer hunting and the saddle ring fell off.Does anyone know if the original ring for this rifle is gold or blue.I've got 1 of each ring and can't remember what was on it originally.

Maybe it didn't fall off. They are really noisy for deer hunting.
