which scope for my 3006.

right now i have my target scope on my 3006 . i have 2 spare scopes . a leupold 4 to 14 x40 with a.o .and second is a weaver grand slam 3 to 10 x 40 no a.o .which one would you go with .

I hate AO on a hunting scope so the weaver would be my choice of the two.

I think both optics are in the same class. Go with whichever looks best on your '06! Maybe the Weaver might have an extra foot or two of field of view but that's about it. Both are really great glass. My vote is with the Weaver on this matter.

Sell both and buy a Leupold VX3 2.5-8x or 3.5-10x. Neither with AO.
