Which Scope for my Rifle?

I'm looking at a Bushnell Engage 2.5-10x44mm, or Sightron 4-12x40 TAC AO. This is going on a Modern Sporter when it arrives. The main purpose of this will be for target practice, hunting coyotes, and pest control. My budget goal is "Under $500".
