which scope

Just bought a Remington 700 SPS tactical in .308, and I have been looking for a good target scope. After about two weeks of googling, I am completely confused about what the best reticle is for target shooting. There are so many different systems all touted by the manufacturers as the 'best' - mildot, BDC etc etc. Anyone got some advice - I don't want to have to cart around a computer and/or pile of math calculations to hit the target.

havent you got any sense?, the guy just said twice it was a target rifle


as for answering the question, you should go into the precision section of the forum, i'm not a scope guru myself, but it'd do better than in the newbie section
