Which semi would you rather go with? T/C 22 or 10/22?

If you want "out of the box", go TC. There's very few aftermarket parts, but then few if any are required. Its what the Ruger should be out of the box.

If you want a rifle to tinker with and trick out, go Ruger. Tons of aftermarket parts.

That's an easy question to answer, you should own both. The T/C for it's accuracy(among other things)out of the box; the 10/22 because of what it can become, if money is not an issue. I own both, there are things I like and dislike about each one, it's really a matter of personal taste.

Don't believe for an instant that just adding a BC stock and bull barrel will make a tack driver. I tought it would too but then had to go the route of all the other stuff like a trigger job, bedding, special bridge type scope mount etc etc. Finally I had a rifle that would drive tacks for about 10 or 15 rounds before I had to clean the bolt face and chamber face(?) of crud to allow proper seating.
At it's best the 10/22 as I kitted it out never came close to the consistency of accuracy of a cheap bolt action Norinco JW15.
Having said that, The 10/22 gives a lot of fun and lots of tinker time to accurize and restock it.

Just wondering? Anyone know what ever happened to the Ruger 10/22T? Did they quite making it?

Don't know, but I have one and it shoots like a house on fire!!!!
Of course, I tweaked it internally(recoil buffer, radiused bolt, pinned firing pin, VQ Exact Edge Extractor, VQ auto bolt release, VQ mag catch, VQ target hammer and trigger), but even before the internal work, it shot beautifully.....
