I want to buy a medium priced ($2-300) low powered scope for my Rem 870 slug gun. It's scoped now with a 70's production Bushnell Scopechief 1.5-4.5 command post sight. I love this old scope. I had it on my 3006 BAR for years. This fall I plan on hunting both shotgun hunt in SW Ont and 2nd week of rifle season in WMU 60. I don't want to make switch between two hunts. I also worry some about shooting the old Bushnell loose with the recoil of the sabot slug loads.
I believe Bushnell used to make a shotgun scope in my price range in what I think was the 3200 ?? series. I no longer see them listed.
I missed the chance to bid on a twin to my Scopechief at Switzer's Aution last spring. Got really bored around 3:30 and bugged out. Kicking myself ever since. I really don't want to know what it went for especially if it was a bargain. Not one of my smarter decisions.
Any feedback on what I should be looking at would be appreciated.
Thanks
