I think anything out there is pretty crappy. The only one I've seen that makes sense would be to get the Choate one. No one in Canada has it, and buying one from Choate will cost you because of custom fees.

I think you're best bet, if you really want to invest, would be to thread the crown and get a threaded one...
 
Your car doesn't have "breaks". Neither do guns.

As for what kind of muzzle brake you should get, the ones that pin behind the front sight tower are pretty secure. I don't like set screws because they mar the finish on the barrel and will loosen during firing unless you loctite them on (which promotes corrosion because you can't easily remove the brake for cleaning when using corrosive ammo).
 
undIn any case, gotta get one on there ASAP and tame that wicked recoil I mean, if you weigh under 80 pounds and fire off 300 rounds quick, you might get a tiny bruise.
