I am planning to put a composite stock on my Brno ZG47. Any Large ring Mauser 98 stock will fit. I don't normally like composites, but in this case it needs to be practical and durable. So if I'm going to buy a composite stock, it better be a good one or I'll hate it. Currently I've been considering a McMillan (Interarms Mk X pattern), a Bansner, a Robertson Composites, or a Wildcat. I tend to like slim fore ends and open pistol grips.
Since I have never owned a composite rifle stock previously I am interested in opinions. The metalwork will probably be done in black ceracoat, with an olive drab paint job on the stock and a red Pachmayer Decelerator pad.
On a side note does anyone know if anyone in Canada sells Alaska Arms scope mounts for Brno/CZ rifles, or Alaska Arms Pre-64 Win Mod 70 style Mauser 98 triggers?
