Which talleys fpr a tikka t3x

I picked up a tikka t3x 3006 and a Leupold vx-3hd 3.5-10x40 scope I haven't received the scope yet. But I want to see if I can get my scope mounts ahead of time. Which Height talley mounts would i need.

You can go extra low as well. I've mounted scopes up to 42mm objective in talley extra lows.

Low. Unless, like me, you prefer to shoulder the rifle with the stock down near your jaw.

The extra lows are not too low, I've had them on several.

I have recently switched 2 tikkas to the DNZ game reaper 1 pc. it is about 2 ounces heavier, but MUCH stronger (thicker material), and there can be no issues with aligning front and rear rings.

My bad, extra low is the correct answer, with Talley whatever the lowest one they offer for a given rifle is the correct answer for 40mm stuff. Thanks for the correction fellas.

I think what you have is almost the perfect rig. The scope is good quality with a good power range and the caliber and rifle brand are good quality for all types of hunting.

I would go with what I have on my tikka which is a low height and Tally lightweight rings. I don't think that you will be disappointed. You'll be able to get a nice cheek weld but the scope won't be too high. Enjoy!!
