Which target rifle vise to buy.

Just purchased first long range rifle. Need to buy a vise to level rifle so I can mount and level scope. As well as for maintenance of rifle.

Any help on which vice to buy and where to buy would be appreciated.

in a 6 inch RECORD it wont move for sure, but a bipod works great

You dont need a rifle vise, just the bipod will do. I find the Weaver level level level easy and convenient, but not required. A string and weight to form a plumb line are all that are needed.

You can level a scope without one, but for maintenance it's worth the money to get something. I have the MTM vice http://www.mtmcase-gard.com/products/shooting/gun-vice-cleaning-gv-30.php and like it a lot. Get it on Amazon.ca
