Which Trigger?

I've narrowed the trigger selection down to two for my current rem700 build. Looking at either the Tiggertech or the Cadex 2 stage. Any suggestions or recommendations on which to choose???

I will have a trigger tech here shortly and will compare the 2. :p

Cant really say which is better until I try both.

Would like to try a Cadex trigger...Have the trigger Tech and it does break clean but I don't really care for the feel after it breaks....I feel a lot of firing pin and or ignition spring feed back. For the money it is better then a Remington trigger for sure. Huber 2 stage still is my fix and then Jewel...Just a few thoughts :)

The true aficionado, if forced by misfortune to use the action which was popularized due to the fact that its manufacturer was the lowest bidder in contention, will accept redemption only by way of attaching a CG trigger. Others do not compare. It is a finer mechanism than a TRG trigger.

If you want the best Rem 700 trigger I would agree that it is a cg extreme. Super crisp, tuneable, etc.

I would like to try the 2 stage Cadex though. I think once you try a two stage it is hard to go back.

I also recently installed a CG X22 and its pretty impressive. 2 stage is really nice and easy to get used to.

Very nice trigger but its pricey I could hire some mexicans to pull my trigger and carry my chit. If they do not pull trigger good no water no food lmao! Maybe Juan Valdez can find me some for cheap in Espanola lol.

Remington 700 triggers tuned by a good smith are really nice. Both of my rifles (GAP and TacOps) have really nice triggers, and they are "just" tuned remington 700 triggers.

Says the bloke with three PGW products.

What if the trigger lasts longer than the barrel? Would it be worth the cost then?

I wanted to try it. Bought the coyote, might as well give it something quality and jewels were in short supply. Trigger arrived 2 weeks after I ordered it, pretty good for gun parts these days.

I always ##### about price lol Would I buy one to try of course I would lol Maybe I should buy one to try/compare who has the best price? Still think the Trigger Tech is hard to beat for performance/cost = great value.

The other thing about the CG triggers is the customer service. I have a trigger without a safety as I was going to go with a tube gun. At the end of the day I went with something different and now want a safety. I emailed Tom and he said no problem, pay for shipping and parts and all is good to go. Said he would get it done ASAP. He stands by his products and does a good job.

However, I might buy a triggertech just to see what all the fuss is about when it is getting a safety put on.
