White Camo Paint for AR15???

Just finished painting stock on AR15 with Tremclad Flat White paint and it scrapes off with finger nail after 24hours of drying, WTF ???????????

You can buy automotive paint for painting plastic parts of a car.

Not sure if anyone here has used it but automotive painters use a plastic prep before painting..... Krylon would be the next best I'd guess....

Hey guys, I'm a painter by trade. Degrease and wash the surface. For plastic parts use a plastic prep and for metal use an etch primer. Sand between the metal surface and primer and as mentioned above use many light coats of paint.

Pick up a can of break clean and spray it down the paint will come right off (use a rag to) and give it another shot with Krylon fusion. Remember primer really helps the paint stick.

So could I use Krylon Fusion as a primer and then apply Tremclad Flat white? I ask just in case I can`t find flat white Krylon Fusion.

Sure but I don't think you'll have any problem finding white Fusion.

I've used model spray paint on polymer furniture parts. Works rather well.
