One would hope that they could preserve the area. I wonder why this area is marked for development when there is much land available in upper county New York.... Location, location, location... realestate rules apply once again.

I would like to go in there and have a white deer hunt.... kill them all... the recessive gene is not a good thing to have in the deer herd. It would be like shooting snowshoe rabbits without snow.
I wonder if they are hiring out for hunters?
Give me a dozen good Cavan Swamp hunters and about twenty cases of slugs and we could straighten that problem out in long weekend.
Ghost Deer.... yeah right... I'd like to turn them all into ghosts.

Ok you trigger happy hunters…. I know that on the most part, you are being facetious, but killing one of these would serve very little purpose since you can't eat the meat.
We all know that white meat is good, but the dark meat is better. Unless of course it is six months old or less, in which case, get the bow out and shoot it because that meat is the best, with or without the recessive genes BIGREDD.
