whitetails in 5-02?

I only saw mulies when I was up that way, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I know for a fact that there are whitetails just north of there in 7-08. I friend of my Dad's took a nice 4x6 earlier this year.

Yes there is actually more than a few whitetails in the Lac la Hache area. While not common by any means I would not hunt there without a whitetail tag in my pocket. (I have taken 3 flagtails in 5-2 since they opened a season on them here 6 or 7 years ago)
 
I am going mulie hunting up there next weekend , Just thought if there were anythere I will buy a tag for them as well . Sounds like a few there ,and with my luck if I dont have a tag there would be a hat rack looking at me . I will go buy a tag then
 
You might as well buy a Whitetail tag, because if you don't you know what's going to happen. I have seen several WT's North of Williams lake along the Fraser.
