Whitetails used to be scarce in BC

Are there many whitetails there now? Perhaps they are some of the ones that disappeared from here last winter.

You see, back in the day, southern BC was THE PLACE for big whitetails, dominating the Boone and Crockett Record Book, including the #1 Buck at that time, under the old scoring system.

But some guys would have to console themselves with a ram because there weren't enough whitetails for every hunter to get one.

still some big uns to be found here, just our wildlife management does not lend itself to producing large antlered animals in abundance you have to put the miles on
