Who all hunts more than just deer with Shotgun Slugs????

Just looking to people who regularly use slugs for bigger game besides deer. What kind of results are you's getting and with what slug loads. Just trying to get an idea of what are favored for bigger animals.

I know some people who use it for moose. Kills em as dead as any other peice of lead.

I use Hornady SST 12ga through a Remington rifled cantilever barrel. I would feel comfortable shooting out to 150yds from a stable rest at standing deer. I've shot them closer and it's very deadly. Works on incidental coyotes too.

coyotes with a Slug! Sounds FUN!!! Maybe ill have to try that with my Slug gun!

Coyote. Bear. A lot of people carry shotgun for bear in ON because you are shooting over bait.
