I'm looking for a business that can machine a Glock slide down so I can mount an RMR or another MRD on it. Possibly add some forward and top serrations as well.

Post here if you know a place in Canada.

Thanks.

But as Rodregier pointed out it isn't easy so it's probably going to be expensive.

Its dead simple is you have a mill.

One of our Engineers does it in his garage...

Don't let the finish hardness scare you - the bit will clean right through it.

I'd recommend Cera-Koting the slide after.

The rear sight mounts for the MRD'ss are horrible.

But Shawn, you should have bought a M&P9 Core ;)

Roger that Kev.

This is for someone's Glock that I did a bunch of work on.

I have a plan in place for the CORE already. The wife won't let me work on hers, so now I need one of my own. Lol

Seems like there is a lot of thread digging lately...

Oooooooh boy, a thread resurrected from back in '13. Now this is getting up there in age.

Although it's neat to see that back in 2013, trying to find a smith to mill a slide for an optic wasn't easy, now it's only a google search away :)

I had mine done by BlackBox- they did a fantastic job!

Wow, I haven't seen a Hoddie or KevinB post in years, kind of makes me nostalgic for those posts where someone with a newbie tag would criticize an opinion put forward by someone who was posting from A'stan, or Baghdad.
