Do any gunsmiths do this? I prefer the idea of a fixed sight revolver but most of the ones that seem to be out there have 4" or smaller barrels, so prohib.
I'd really like something like a model 13 with half lug and 4.2" but I imagine that the profile would be quite difficult to replicate and therefore extremely expensive.
This has led me to think about old Colts like the Official Police since they don't have lugs so should be a fairly simple matter to have a barrel turned for them.
I emailed Murray Charlton but they say that nothing is available for a model 13 (or 10?) and that Colt barrels are very expensive. Am I missing something here?
