Money's tight, time's running out. We want to get as many pistol frames into Canada as possible and we can kit out the frames later through IRUNGUNS and other importers. Is it only the importers who can bring in 100% frames? We need to get as many frames in the hands of Canadians as possible.

A better question to ask is who makes pistol frames in Canada?
Colt 1911 45 pistol frames are a possibility, Para Ordnance made a lot of them here back in the day

P320 "frame" is actually the little insert that goes into the grip frames, doubt there's a source of lots of those. There are a lot of aftermarket gen 3 glock compatible serialized frames out there, I think saskatoon gunworks brings in some of them. CTCS used to too, might still.

Dlask imports quality 1911 forgings
these would not even need to be machined in order to be serialized and registered as a firearm frame/lower. If the intent is to make that forging into a firearm , once it has a registered serial number , it IS a firearm as far as the CFC is concerned.

wouldn't hurt to reach out to dlask to see how many forgings they might be interested in registering and liquidating before the real shenanigans start to kick in.
