If it was up to me I would discourage anyone from using exel bullets. their quality control is cr*p. Big difference in bullet weight within one box. Misslabeled boxes (supposed to be 124 but were 115).

Shot for fun at Nationals because of their bullets being so far from the said weight.

You are better off buying from BDX. They have Montana Golds and a line of plated bullets where the weight is right on spec.

For the love of god man, please avoid them like the plague. Marstar and Higginson are both close to you and carry the vastly superior Frontier bullets.

RE: Lebaron. Stuff seems to be in stock when I want it. Slight advantage: I can drive there for about .25 worth of gas. No shipping. 7% discount card on prices that are already low. So, I can't complain. But that's me.

I recently saw a post which said Marty was just recently doing something about his quality. If that is the case I might give him another try, for blasting ammo anyways. LeBaron might not have this supposedly new stock. Otherwise, I use Frontier for plated.
