Who Carries the Mavrick 88?

I am looking for a Maverick 88 security with the 20 inch barrel....everyone seems to list the 18.5 model....any ideas?
 
I think Lever has some as does SIR.

Also most Mossberg barrels fit the Maverick. :D

So Keep an eye out for any deal on the 22+" barrels with changable chokes, and wrench. I know quite a few Maverick owners using this combo also.

These barrels, and the fixed choke ones sometimes can be found at gunshows from time to time, that is where I found mine. :D
 
Wholesale Sports lists the 8 shot, 20" model (item #210228). It comes with the regular buttstock and a pistol grip for $230. The barrel on this one won't interchange with regular 500 Mossberg barrels though, because of the longer mag tube. They also have a 20" accu-choke barrel that will fit the 6 shot 500's and 88's for $160.

Funny that Wholesale lists the gun in their catalog but not on the website....
I think I will go for the 8 shot model.....it's cheap and won't be doing anything else but it's indended role as a truck/brush gun....I already have a number of longer barrelled guns for hunting/sporting use so 'convertability' is not really an issue.

I considered the 88, but the price differance from the 500, didn't seem worth it. A new 500 from Reliable was $315 and the last time I looked at an 88 it was $275
 
I went the same route as you Colin. I wanted a 28" bbl with interchangeable tubes. The Maverick only comes with one tube, the 500 comes with 3. When you add up the cost of the additional tubes they are almost the same price and I prefer a wood stock anyway.
