Who didn't tag out this year?

I didn't. I went out a total of about 8 hours this season and never got my white tail tag filled. I saw moose and mule deer but only a few white tails and they were within about 100-150 yards of an occupied dwelling so it was no go. It was nice to get out again (for the little I did) and I think I might consider muzzle loader next year to get out at a nicer time of the year.

well I filled my doe tags but missed my 170+ inch white tail and werewolf was out with me the same day and missed a very nice 150" buck the same day so tag soup on the bucks

I never filled a tag for whitetail. After spending countless hours and days on stand and only seeing three deer and three wolves I decided to give the population a break and not kill anything this year. This the first time in 30 years that my tags never got used.

Me too Xmas decorations this year. Didn't even take my doe this year. One young bull moose was all. Plenty of meat for winter, and jerky is soaking as I type. Be in the smoker tonight. Oh ya seen lots of deer just not the right one.

3 or 4 days in muzzleloader with nothing, then on the 5th day out for general rifle I got a nice sized doe. I was starting to get a little worried thinking about my empty freezer!;)
Either way, a day in the bush is better than a day at work!

It was a good season for me. Filled our moose tag, shot a nice whitetail buck, but no luck with the bear this year. Still plenty of wild game in the freezer. I'm happy.

Diddly and squiddly.
My buddy missed an easy shot on a doe draw.
Junior slept most of the day I had her out.
So no fur that day t'either.
I see plenty of fur, none legal for me.
Some feathers were plumed, so it was
a bit exspensive per pluck.

Memories are priceless though.

We can still bag targets..........aye?

My group didn't fill all of our tags, but we never do.

There is a bunch of us though, and most only come out 1 or 2 days of the week.

The only tags that ever went unfilled since I started hunting was moose tags when we drove 20+ hrs north to hunt..These trips run 50/50 for success..Hard to get drawn for moose here, Far less moose than North, but much easier to fill tags..I guess living here, and knowing the trerrain pays off.

No one in our party did, but we get a fair number of tags in our area. My partner and I got a mulie doe and whitetail buck each, but no whitetail doe for either of us and I had a mulie buck tag that went unfilled. We had seen some big bucks in our zone in past years, but saw nothing aside from a little spiker and a nice buck that went the wrong way for me to get a shot. Another in our group that day had a mulie buck tag and got him, though.

My 12 year old son was out for his first ever season of big game and he came away with tag soup after missing a decent shot on a mulie doe. He will be a year wiser on field shooting live game (vs. paper at the range) and what buck fever feels like next season, though.;)

I have never ever tagged out.... it's impossible to fill!

However, I have never been skunked, Moose, deer, goose, duck, ruffed grouse, and fish fill my freezers....
