Who else hunts wmu 4 in ont.

Just wondering who else on here hunts moose as far up as we do!

I hunted there for the first time this year, some of my group has been going for many years. The drive (24 hours) was worth it.

Halhunt are you near ear falls up there?

I hunted wmu 5 this year for the first time. We stayed just south of ear falls. Beautiful country!

We stayed in Ear Falls and hunted between maybe 20-80 km drive from there. Ear Falls seems like the intersection of several WMU.

Halhunt i missed this years hunt almost sounds like you were with my group.Guys from orillia?

No, in or around Toronto. One thing I noticed was the different hunt groups knew each other from going up there many years.

That area is excellent and yes most of us know eachother from meeting year to year you probably met my party ... bunch of rednecks and couple young hot shots from orillia. No big camper this year they stayed at the motel in ear falls

Years ago I hunted moose north of Red lake.
Drove through Ear falls.
North western Ontario is very beautiful and worth a slowdown and look around to see what you might be missing.

You bet ... i hate the drive but every year I can't wait to get there!
