i did , by the time i remembered it it was midnight in BC but 2am in manitoba so i missed it by a mile . :(

for $400 , its a sweet deal .

so who got one ?

Just choked here, I forgot to account for the time change as well. Yet the site said reply for back orders........ Wolverine didn't,t really think it would take a month to sell so few rifles at half price did they?....they had 77000 hits on the original post......
 
I managed to get one. :)

I was on my computer at 11:45pm EST time. Someone said that Wolverine is located in Manitoba so I waited an hour until it was midnight CST... It was almost like the website had suffered some kind of web attack, judging by how slow it was the minute the sale went in effect. :p
 
The thing is their product count went into the negative 100 something so a lot of people that thought they got one may not have actually got one. I may have got one though, decided against buying multiple for profit and just bought one for use...

i know another mod missed it . he was wondering what the asking price is gonna be on EE ?
 
I had a beautiful date instead. My bank account only dropped by less than a hundred dollars as opposed to $400. In any case, my future gun monies are going to a Norc I figure.
 
Tried to get one for the hell of it but my cart kept trying to put two in. By the time I got it to load one in, they were in the - numbers. Sweet deal but didn't work out, oh well.
 
I got to the checkout screen 3 of 6 after some excrutiatingly long load times, then got an error message. By the time I got back to the 'add to cart' page they were listed as sold out. Doh!

It would have been nice to get one at that price, but what can you do, eh? More cash to put toward a celebratory long gun once the registry is gone.

Saw stock down to -129 before the Webmaster clear the basket. There will be more disappointed folks then happy. Fun lesson on fanatic Internet sale, surprised WOLV site didn't crash.

As mentioned EE had one unsold for a week that was a better deal so buyer remorse should bring price near the sale price after the price grouchers realize folks are only buying cause it's cheap; otherwise WOLV. would never have done the fire sale.

Can someone please tell me where you find the inventory numbers on Wolverine's site? People keep talking about them, but I've never been able to find them.

I was surprised the site held up too. It was super slow, but worked good. Slow and steady. I think (hope) I got one. I guess we'll all know soon enough...

I was thinking maybe they put the range of stock from -1XX-+58 instead of 0-1XX to make it seem like they had less and get people more excited.

Got 2, what a nail biter! Waiting for each page to load in the hopes that it wouldn't crash half way through!

Now I need t find a good brake for it, any recommendations? Also spare mags? Wolverine sold out on those before the sale!
 
Thought about it. Was going to, great deal. Thought more, decided I like my 7.62s better. Looks like all I missed was a lot of frustration!
