Who Gold Plates in Canada?

plating shop i used to work at does, though im not there anymore so they dont have anyone with rpal on site to do it, though i am on good terms with the owner still and would be willing to offer my services for custom polishing and plating.

its electro plating though so it is temp sensitive (600 degrees) so you should be fine

PM me if you want info

Just FYI.... Rpal or not that's not legal as you don't have an ATT or business license.

Ask the guy that did the Dlask 8.5" on the EE... Yikes. Done right, on a genuine Colt 1911, it could have its place. Not in my safe, but I wouldn't laugh at it either. On a Norinco, I might get a little sick.

You mean the one you tried to buy.... That one? it's sold. I've pmed the op.

Lots of illegal talk on this thread... Careful boys.

If you mean the one I said I'd go for at $600 under asking and cerakote it green? Then yep.

I love low ballers.... You didn't get it. No need to bring up my gun in this thread. You lost plain and simple. Many guys liked that gun and the guy who bought it is thrilled....

Edit to add... If you can't answer the op's question why are you even posting?

I'm very happy for them. Glad you corrected me for a moment there I thought personal opinions were allowed on the internet.

Mine is it would make a decent second layer of rust preventative if hidden under a very heavy layer of cerakote. Others clearly differ, and liked it, and that's swell. You have a free pass to lowball anything of mine you dislike/find ugly, and can even express your opinions on it. :)

Deal, I'll low ball the first ugly thing I see from you... I haven't seen one yet though so I feel at a disadvantage. Maybe you could send me a nice sxs to fix up for ya...:onCrack:

Your right. Gold is one of the better rust defenses out there.

weird how the cfo granted me an att to do it on 3 separate occasions provided it was a stripped down frame, just couldn't leave it there over night and i only had 2 days to complete the work.
