Who has a 7x64?

I'll be ordering the rifle through Epps Sporting Goods as I have been dealing with them for a long time and they offer great service. Price I was quoted for the stainless model was $650. The Zastava commercial Mauser 98s are great rifles in my experience. I did do a bit of research on the caliber on the internet. I am curious what my fellow GunNutz members have to say.

I use a Sako AV in 7X64. I use 280 Rem loading data-so, its basically the same; although not interchangeable. I see a nice Sauer 90 in 7X64 listed on the EE>

Thanks for the input everyone. I placed an order today at Epps Sporting Goods for a Zastava M70 PSS in 7x64. Price ended up being $709 and delivery in approx 4 months. I will post a review of the rifle in case anyone else is interested.

That Zastava looks very interesting! The only stainless steel mauser action that I am aware of. I like the 7x64, "cool factor" is high and it is a very common proven round in Europe. I have a Brno 21h in 7x64. Used it to take one elk so far, no complaints. Seems like it kills 'em if you shoot straight!

For supply source, it seems Baikal Canada is now importing them. I've seen some of the recent arrival, some stocks were great lookin' others were "avarage", to say the least. That's the only real problem with Zastava; finishing is not a "standard".
