So the Blue Line Pump shotguns are a very affordable option and to get into shotgunning (under CAD $300.-).

And according to my experience with them .... they are a rock solid 870 clone ...

They are basically a tank with a better fit and finish than the old Remington 870 Express shotguns.

My question now ... who owns a Blue Line pump .... and what is your experience with those guns?

Thanks, I'll pass, have had 3 Chinese made guns and all had issues.
I like to be open minded on a case to case basis with certain countries of origin. I am always reluctant specifically with Chinese firearms. In my experience they have had inexpensive or poor quality parts…
(Norinco m305 socom was pretty bad, 1911’s were questionable milling, and the grizzly’s were just ok imo)

Folks, who actually owns a Blue Line pump?

I want to hear from people who actually own the gun ....
I bought one and modified it with a Magpul stock, mag extension, and Streamlight Racker fore end.

I liked it so much that I got another one: did an AR grip, Magpul adjustable stock, and a Magpul forend.

I've also got a personal purchase 870 Police Magnum, and have been using the 870 Professionally on duty for 18 years.

Great shotgun. Hell of a lot of value.

Though my 20GA Hawke/H&R had a bent barrel, and had to send it for warranty.

But my HP9 pretty much is a Rem 870 Police. Other than the reciever, action bars/pump and bolt. Barrel, stock set, trigger assembly, mag ext is off a 870 Police..

I own a blue line and I really like it. It has the old remington build quality. I also owned a new 870 in 2012, very disappointing.

I changed out the furniture on the blue line. The stock is quite heavy in a good way. It does not feel like hollow junk. The forend and stock are completely useable. I changed them because i wanted a light on the front and a shorter stock. I am the right size for a 14" LOP but prefer shorter.

I put a sun optics mount on to try out a red dot on a shotgun. The mount did not fit right but good enough to use. I sighted it with challenge slugs and I got as good a group as you can with a smooth bore shotgun. I highly recommend the blue line shotguns.

I have the ATI s beam on order right now. I plan on posting a comparison of the two when i get the chance. Probably wont be until december.

Is the Blue Line 870 reciever drilled and tapped? Can it accept a Mesa Tactical side saddle?
It is not drilled and tapped. It should fit the mesa tactical side saddle. I am not sure if the sun optics rail is off or if my gun is off. It was close enough to work though
