I have yet to see any good deals on ammo. Was hoping for slugs but oh well. Xmas maybe.
Off the top of my head though I would look at Canada ammo.

Firearms Outlet Canada has the best price on bulk 9mm. Haven't seen any great deals on .45 acp. www.gotenda.com had PPU .45acp on sale 500 for $259.

Cabela's has Remington UMC 9mm on for 16.99/50 with a mail in rebate from Remington for $5 a box = 11.99/50 not too bad.

I just ordered and it said it was backordered and the Remington rebate expires 2016-12-19. I confirmed with Cabela's that the order could be cancelled right up until it ships.

Short story 16.99/50 not a deal but 11.99 shipped free to store for pickup seems pretty good if it gets there before the rebate expires.

That's helpful. I just called their help line and apparently they're pretty short on 9mm across the country. Tried to order 20 boxes of 50 and he said they don't have that in the country....

Cabelas has american eagle 147 gr in for 11.99 box, works out to 27 cents a round after tax. I dont know when the sale ends.
