Who has the new CQ-A M4's for sale right now?

more guns supply in manitoba I bought mine there they seemed great to deal with had it shipped to ontario.

Do we have to pay the new tax if we buy from Ontario and live in Alberta?

I know I shipped a box last night to ontario and I had to pay the new tax on top of it, figure that one out.

No you don't. If you are a GST province then you only pay GST. If you are an HST province then you pay HST no mater what province you buy from.

The new HST in Ontario and BC really only effects Ontario and BC residents that used to buy out of province to save the PST. Buying out of province doesn't save you anything tax wise.

Hunter64. If you paid HST to ship something to Ontario I think you got screwed. On a pleasant note I ordered from Badger and paid only GST as I am in Alberta.

Couldn't believe it myself but the nice young lady behind the counter insisted that I needed to pay the HST to ship to Ontario. I took the package back home and called the post office help line and in fact you have to pay it now to ship to the HST provinces. I am going to ship something to the in laws next week and they live in BC so we shall see if I get it again there too.

I was using expresspost, for normal box shipping then there is no HST I guess.

We are waiving the difference between HST and GST for all the HST based provinces for the time being as a transition issue starting Saturday July 10/2010. We will be posting it later today in our forum.

Basically what will happen is you'll be charged the HST, but get back the difference between GST and HST. This applies to the Maritimes, Ontario, and BC. This allows people who missed the July 1/2010 cutoff to still get the total price they were looking for before the July 1/2010 cutoff.
